Amanda and Collin's Preppy Navy and Pink Wedding!

I'm excited to show you these photos from Amanda and Collin's wedding which was really such a sweet day for a sweet couple.

The weather was simply perfect and considering our rain soaked summer, I was so happy they got an amazing day. The wedding reception was at Roof with a View, a venue that has an excellent view of the Charlotte skyline and Panthers stadium.

I worked with a great group of vendors, which if you plan events you know that makes all the difference. Full vendor list at the bottom of this post.

Here are some preliminary photos from my camera.

Their colors were navy and pink and their style was simple and preppy. Perfect for summer!

I crafted these napkin tags to add a pop of pink to the navy napkins. They were tied around the napkins with pink and white striped twine. This took awhile but was worth it, and I even saw people wearing them as necklaces later in the evening. It was a napkin accoutrement and a fashion statement all in one!

The head table was gorgeous, with flowers and mercury glass from Pink Petunia Flowers and Design. Pink and white flowers were the perfect addition to the simple navy and white decor.

The flowers were arranged in two different patterns throughout the room. One was a low, larger arrangement and the the second was mixed bud vases with small clusters of flowers in each vase. I loved the variety!

I loved loved loved the cake from Wow Factor Cakes. The clean, modern cake used real ribbon, not fondant. After much debate at the cake tasting, we decided that real ribbon would look better and cleaner than fondant. These are the types of little decisions and details that go into wedding planning!

As always, I love showing you the small details that make every wedding unique!

The card receptacle was a small vintage suitcase crafted by a family member - so adorable!

Technology was abound at the wedding with Amanda and Collins very own instagram hashtag!

Per a suggestion from Amanda's aunt, I tied a flower to Amanda's champagne flute. I thought this was so cute and will be doing it in the future!

The couple had a signature drink of white sangria complete with pink and white striped straws. The sangria was set up on a table outside and because of the wind the straws were going every which way which was driving me nuts! But the concept was cute and people loved the sangria!

One of their family members hand drew this sign at the church. How talented!

We arranged for King of Pops gourmet popsicles to show up towards the end of the reception to hand out cool pops to all the dancin' fools left at the reception! Key Lime Pie or Watermelon Mojito, anyone? They were a hit!

Amanda's dress was stunning, here's a pic of her dress during the couples first dance. More photos of her dress to come when I post the professional photos.

Here's the sun setting and the view changing from light to dark. So cool!
