We have FINALLY dug out of the snow/ice here in Charlotte! And I am SO happy, because one of my best friends is getting married this weekend! Leighton, the bride to be, is a beautiful, sweet and kind-hearted chick who lives in NYC. You could not find someone with a bigger heart, and I love her dearly.
Her bridal luncheon is the event I have been previewing all week.
Leighton is having a sophisticated and elegant wedding in uptown Charlotte, so for her luncheon she wanted soft pinks and feminine colors with an Anthropologie feel.
I set up the luncheon today, and hope I captured that concept! Here is a sneak peak of the flowers as I arranged them on my kitchen table:
Can you tell that I have discovered the "1960s" editing feature on Picnik? I LOVE IT! (Reminds me of my parents photo albums with old pictures that have rounded corners):
I thought this little birdie was very Anthropologie! And the peonies - so gorgeous and they smell amazing!
The different colored glass vessels are from World Market - $2.99. A total knock off of Anthro's $6.99 version!
Here's to the happy couple and to their gorgeous wedding. Leight has planned tons of fun and creative touches to her big day. Blog Posts to follow! Cheers to Leighton and Quentin - the most badass couple I know. (L&Q picture from my wedding below...I may have snuck in a few frames...or all of them...!)
love the flowers! Def looks "anthro", esp w/ that editing tool!
