Busiest Unemployed Person Ever

In my mind, being laid off was less busy bee and more laying on the couch watching DVR'd TV whilst drowning my sorrows in cheese.

This past weekend was anything BUT that! And you know what, it was totally awesome! I haven't had time to wallow or feel sorry for myself. I have only felt excited about the possibilities to come.

Today was my last day at the office, which was bittersweet really. I will really miss the friends i have made at work, but I know I will see them often.

I am still exhausted from the weekend as I attended several parties and worked at 2 other events, so I am just going to post a few preview pictures of my weekend before I get to bed. I can't wait to post all about the multiple parties and events I was fortunate enough to be a part of this weekend.

A REALLY fun Curious George Themed 1st birthday party created by yours truly for my best friend's precious baby boy:

A wonderful 60th birthday party for Mr. Fo's Aunt. (Check out those cateye glasses - Rrrroar!)

A beautiful baptism party held by my friend Hillary's family at their lovely home.

I celebrated my little heart out this weekend! I am still stuffed from the various crudites, mini sandwiches, chips and dips and the occasional (okay, frequent) party beverage. It was a wonderful weekend jam packed with happy celebrations.

I can't wait to post about each party and get back to checking all of my blogs. Is it sad that I miss all of my blogs and the blog people I have never met? A little bit, right?! Hope everyone is having a GREAT week!

  3. We did a Curious George party for my daughter's 3rd birthday. Not as cute as that, though.
